Church Staff
Rev. Bob Rogers has served as Senior Pastor since the fall of 2001. He received his ministerial training at Central Bible College in Springfield, MO and The School of Evangelism in Lausanne, Switzerland. His wife Becky graduated from Southwestern A/G University.
During his thirty-five plus years of ministry Rev. Rogers served as Crusade Director for David Wilkerson, Senior Pastor for two re-established inner city congregations in Los Angeles, Senior Pastor for First A/G in Dallas, and as Vice President of Together in the Harvest Ministries, assisting Steve Hill in leadership for many of the expressions of the Brownsville Revival.
Pastor Rogers came to Wichita Falls with an unwavering commitment to see First A/G continue as a revival fellowship that is committed to cutting edge strategies for fulfilling the task of world evangelization and raising up strong Spirit-filled believers. When out of the office, he can be found riding horses or drinking coffee, strong coffee.
Rev. Starkovich Forster is a native of Plantersville, MS. He has played piano since the age of four and played for special services at the age of six. Starkovich became the principle organist at his father’s church at the age of 12.
Pastor Starkovich attended the Jackson College of Ministries in Jackson, MS, where he earned a degree in Christian Music under the direction of Gospel music composer, Lanny Wolfe. In 2000, he received his ordination and began teaching worship seminars and served in a full-time capacity as worship pastor. Starkovich and his wife, Carla, joined the ministry staff of First Assembly of God in January 2005. He is an excellent cook and has a great love for learning.
Rev. David Ramirez was born and raised in Munday, Texas. He was employed by the city of Wichita Falls for 31 years and retired in March of 1996. David served in La Primera Asamblea de Dios for 12 years as a deacon, treasurer and Royal Ranger Commander, until the Lord directed him and his wife Amelia here to First Assembly of God.
Pastor David coordinates the Hispanic Ministry overseeing the Hispanic Sunday School and morning worship services and the Bible studies on Wednesday nights at 7:00 pm. He has been serving in different ministries for over 20 years.
David has always felt the need for a greater outreach to the Hispanic community in Wichita Falls. He is also involved in missions in Mexico. David, his wife Amelia, and a group from First Assembly go and build churches and hold revivals at least two to three times a year in Mexico.
